Sail 250® Virginia kicks off in Downtown Norfolk on Friday, June 19th at 12pm as the Parade of Sail arrives featuring more than 60 Tall Ships and Military Vessels representing 30 countries. The event runs through Tuesday morning when the ships depart.
There will be 10 Tall Ship docking locations spread across 5 miles of the Norfolk Waterfront. The event is free and open to the public and will feature concerts, fireworks, ship tours, food vendors and more.
Sail 250® Virginia is one of five official national partner ports – New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore, New York and Boston – commemorating the 250th Birthday of the United States.
