Norfolk, VA – Norfolk Festevents has officially unveiled its 2023 Season of Events, marking the organization’s 41st season of dynamic waterfront festivals, events, and celebrations.
The action-packed slate begins in early May with the 15th Annual Spring Town Point Virginia Wine Festival (May 6 & 7), followed by the 33rd Annual Bayou Boogaloo Cajun Music & Food Festival (May 19-21). Tickets for both festivals, as well as for additional ticketed events, are on sale now at bit.ly/FesteventsTix.
The 47th Annual Norfolk Harborfest: Music, Food & Maritime Festival (June 9-11), the nation’s longest-running, free maritime festival, takes over the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront in early June with the Parade of Sail, live music, a fireworks show, family programming, culinary experiences, and much more.
Highlights of the remainder of the 2023 calendar include 40th anniversary celebrations for both the Fourth of July Great American Picnic & Fireworks (July 4) and the Norfolk Waterfront Jazz Festival presented by Optima Health (August 18 & 19), headlined this year by smooth jazz legends Dave Koz and Gerald Albright. Additional marquee summertime events include the 3rd Annual Juneteenth in the Park Celebration (June 17), the 22nd Annual Norfolk Latino Music & Food Festival (July 22), and the 3rd Annual NashFest Music & Food Festival (September 16).

The 2023 season then comes to a finale in the fall with the 34th Annual Virginia Children’s Festival (October 7), the 35th Annual Fall Town Point Virginia Wine Festival (October 21 & 22), and the 10th Annual Holiday Yule Log Bonfire & Christmas Marketplace (December 2).
