Downtown Made Easy!

NORFOLK, VA, August 29, 2008 – The Downtown Norfolk Council announces the launch on September 1st of an Interactive Map on its website DowntownNorfolk.org  This map, the first of its kind in the region, will provide information on where to go, how to get around and where to park before you leave your home or office.  
The “Show Me Best Parking” feature, supporting attractions, buildings, and individual businesses will guide visitors to appropriate parking facilities for their destination.  Up to date information on street, lane and sidewalk closures will provide valuable information on how to navigate the streets of downtown. 
Downtown businesses and venues will have the opportunity to link to this map to educate their customers on how to travel in to and around downtown. 

The Downtown Norfolk Council is a private, not-for-profit membership organization comprised of businesses and individuals working toward a dynamic, attractive and prosperous downtown.
