Liberty Ship S.S. John W. Brown Visit

The S.S. John W. Brown, America's oldest surviving World War II Liberty ship, will visit Norfolk, Virginia, in July 2009. The Brown will dock next to Nauticus on the waterfront in downtown Norfolk. The ship will be open to the public for tours beginning Friday, July 10, through Monday, July 13.

The public is cordially invited to board the BROWN for dockside tours of the ship on the following schedule:

    * Friday, July 10, noon to 4 p.m.
    * Saturday, July 11, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    * Sunday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    * Monday, July 13, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
