Through Sunday, January 4 the Victory Rover will be offering Naval Base cruises daily at 2pm (no cruises on 12/22, 12/24 and 12/25) January 4 will be the last cruise of the season – cruises will resume in March of 2009.
2 Hour Narrated Naval Base Cruises depart from Nauticus, home of the Battleship Wisconsin, in Downtown Norfolk. The Captain provides a fascinating and entertaining commentary aboard this Coast Guard Certified and inspected vessel. As we cruise the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River you will see all of the sights of one of the world’s busiest sea ports, the highlight being the world’s largest naval base, home of the Atlantic Fleet:  Destroyers, Guided Missile Cruisers, Submarines, Aircraft Carriers and more.  
Up to 150 guests enjoy plenty of comfortable seating, an enclosed main cabin, open-air upper deck, snack bar and souvenir shop.  Reservations can be made by calling 757-627-7406. Combo tickets which offer discounted admission for the cruise and Nauticus are available.
Rover Cruises operates both the Victory Rover and American Rover Tall Ship cruises from the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.
