Blue Angels to perform at Oceanfront in June

VIRGINIA BEACH

The Blue Angels will perform three air shows at the Oceanfront in June as part of OpSail 2012, the nautical festival, and the city’s annual Patriotic Festival.

The aerial shows on June 1-3 will be their first at the Oceanfront in decades. Navy, Virginia Beach and Norfolk officials made the announcement Monday morning.

OpSail is coming to Hampton Roads June 1-12, with tall sailing ships and U.S. Navy ships coming June 6-12.
